Langegg
Learn any language with AI, TTS, and YouTube — 87 languages
Langegg supports 87 languages with AI word lookups, text-to-speech, and YouTube transcript integration. Learn vocabulary from real videos, explore image galleries, and contribute to a community dictionary. Built by a solo developer. Free to use, no install needed. AI features have a daily limit per user (beta).
Hi everyone! I'm Nishi, a solo developer who built Langegg while working full-time.
I was frustrated that most language apps feel gamified but shallow — so I built something focused on real content: learning from YouTube videos, AI word lookups in context, and TTS for actual pronunciation practice.
It supports 87 languages and is completely free. AI features are in beta with a daily limit per user.
Would love honest feedback — what works, what doesn't, and what you'd want to see next!

Who hunted Langegg?
Langegg was hunted by Nishi. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
