Ladder

Step loading made simple: climb from 3×3 to 5×5

Ladder is a free iOS tracker for step loading: each lift climbs a 9-step ladder of sets and reps, from 3×3 to 5×5. Clear every set and you move up a step. Finish 5×5 and the weight goes up. Miss a set and you drop back one. Ladder applies the rules for you, guides each workout set by set with a rest timer that notifies you on the lock screen, and keeps a history per lift. No account, no cloud, no tracking: everything stays on your phone.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Filip. I'd been running step loading out of a notes app and kept losing track of which step each lift was on, so I built Ladder. The rules are simple: • Hit all your sets → move up a step (3×3, 3×4, 3×5, 4×3 … 5×5) • Finish 5×5 → add weight, back to 3×3 • Miss a set → one step back Ladder just applies them, so there's nothing to work out between sets. It walks you through the workout with a rest timer and keeps a history per lift. It's deliberately small and free: no account, no sync, no social feed, no analytics. Everything lives in on-device SQLite. Built with Expo + React Native. I'd love to hear: what would make you switch from your current log to this?
