The idea for KwikMedi came from a simple but frustrating experience. Whenever someone in the family needed medicines urgently, we often had to visit multiple pharmacies because the prescribed medicine wasn't available at the first store. During conversations with hundreds of patients, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals, we realized this wasn't an isolated problem it happens every day.
We also discovered that while local pharmacies already have the medicines people need, most operate offline, making it impossible for customers to know what's actually available nearby. At the same time, booking reliable lab tests wasn't always convenient or transparent.
Instead of building warehouses, we took a different approach. We built hyperlocal healthcare marketplace that connects patients with licensed neighborhood pharmacies and trusted NABL-certified diagnostic labs. Our platform uses real-time inventory visibility and intelligent order routing to help deliver medicines in 30 minutes (in serviceable areas) and enable doorstep lab test bookings through a single app.
Building KwikMedi has been an incredible learning journey. Over the last 18 months, we spoke with 200+ customers, worked closely with pharmacy partners, ran multiple pilots, and continuously refined the product based on real-world feedback. Every iteration helped us simplify the experience and make healthcare more accessible.
We are happy to say that KwikMedi is now live and starting this next chapter.
