Know Nota
Know where words came from - AI Effort Detection
Verify a document: AI detection with the measured error rate beside every score, where its words appear elsewhere, what hidden characters it carries — one signed Nota Record. Abstains under 100 words. A reading, not a ruling.
Excited to be launching on PH!
Until 2026, we’ve spent decades teaching students that “showing your work” means citations.
But the way students actually work has changed.
Today, they use AI to brainstorm, research, write, code, analyze, get feedback, and learn. That doesn’t mean they didn’t do the work — it means the process looks different.
The problem is that most of our education systems still have no good way to see or recognize that process.
That’s why we built Know Nota.
Know Nota gives students a way to show how they worked — including their AI-assisted work — rather than being judged simply for having used AI.
AI shouldn’t erase the evidence of the effort behind the work.
Would love to hear what you think.
