We run a real photography library. For over 2 years we've been shooting and licensing imagery for brands. Real people, real cameras, real locations.
The conversation I kept having with customers was the same. Founders, designers, e-commerce sellers. They'd hire one shoot a year if they were lucky. The rest of the time they were piecing together imagery from wherever they could find it. They'd ask me, only half-joking, "can you just sell me a model I can drop my product into?"
When AI image generation got good enough that the answer became "yes, maybe", I started building.
The first version of Product Studio took a product image and placed it inside one of our existing photographs. That worked, but it felt limited. Then we added model swap so users could pick the face they wanted in the scene. Then a chat refinement layer so they could keep iterating in plain English. Then video.
Then Claude.
The two newest features both have Claude underneath. Ideas by Claude lives in the working bar. You pick a scene and product, tap once, and Claude reads your scene (with vision) and gives you three creative directions written the way a stylist would brief a photographer. Campaign by Claude is the bigger swing. You upload one product, optionally pick a model, type a one-line brand vibe, and Claude designs a four-shot brand campaign for you. Hero, lifestyle, detail, editorial. Real photography underneath, every shot.
The thing I'm proudest of isn't the AI. It's that an indie founder can build a brand-grade campaign for the cost of a coffee. That the imagery doesn't look like AI. That the models look like people.
