Hi PH community 🙌🏻, I’m Diego, founder of Kaptura.ai.
I built Kaptura to help small teams spend less time on manual order and quoting work.
If your team deals with product orders that come with multiple SKUs, changing quantities, prices, and a lot of back-and-forth, this will sound familiar to you (and you probably don’t love doing it):
🔍 You constantly dig through email threads, PDFs, and images to confirm SKUs, quantities, prices, and product details for orders.
📃 You bounce between your inbox and Excel, copy-pasting details or, worse, retyping everything by hand.
🪄 After that, you’ll probably have to do it again, when the customer/vendor changes their mind, adds new products, or someone asks for tweaks before sign-off.
This work matters a lot, but it’s slow, repetitive, and easy to mess up. Kaptura.ai is here to make that process less painful.
What is Kaptura.ai? It is a Chrome extension that works inside Gmail. When you open an order email or thread, it helps automatically capture the relevant details from the conversation, including attached PDFs and images, and organizes them into clean, editable order lines in a sidebar.
From there, you can review what was captured, fix anything that looks off, add missing lines, and get the data ready for the next step, whether that’s sending a quote, processing an order, or getting everyone on the same page, all without leaving your inbox.
Why I built Kaptura.ai? I started Kaptura as a personal project to help my family business cut down on this kind of repetitive work. After 12+ years working with enterprise software, I know most tools in this space are built for much bigger companies, with bigger budgets and more complexity than smaller teams want or need.
How are we launching? This is our first Chrome extension launch👨🏻🚀, and I’m opening it up to the Product Hunt community and early users first so I can learn from real feedback. You can install it today from the Chrome Web Store or straight from our website.
Full public listing in the Chrome Web Store should follow in the next few days. This launch is early and (hopefully) all about feedback. I’d really appreciate your thoughts and will do my best to improve the extension based on what you share.
