Job Grinder
Find jobs, tailor your resume, and track your next move
Job Grinder helps software engineers searching in the US find relevant roles, tailor resumes to job descriptions, and track applications. Review each rewrite beside your original, export a PDF, and see your progress with a pixel companion.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Wojciech, the maker of Job Grinder.
I recently lost my job due to AI. While looking for my next role, I started using career-ops to help with the search. But I wanted a visual interface where I could see what was happening, review the work, and keep control of my applications.
So I built Job Grinder for myself.
It brings job discovery, resume tailoring, and application tracking into one place. You can compare a tailored resume with your original, review the changes, and export it when you're happy with it. The board keeps your applications and next steps visible.
Using it helped me get several job offers. Then I shared it with a friend. After a few weeks, he had several interviews lined up with its help.
That was when I decided to turn my personal tool into something other people could use. I spent time polishing the interface and making it easier to get started, and now I'm sharing it here.
Job Grinder focuses on software engineers looking for roles in the US. If you're searching right now, I'd love to hear whether it helps and where it still falls short.
