Hi everyone, I’m thrilled to share It Will Pass with you all today. As a medical doctor with experience working in the ER, I know firsthand how critical it is to have immediate, accessible ways to manage stress and decompress. And got panic attacks myself ater working 1 year on ER. I started seeing a psychiatrist, went on medication, but what actually got me through day-to-day were breathing exercises, muscle relaxation and exercises like those. Simple stuff. Then i searched for apps to help me with guided exercises to calm me in those anxious times, But I was disappointed and even frustrated by the current landscape of wellness apps. Too often, they are bloated with expensive, recurring subscriptions, invasive data tracking and endless content to keep user inside the app—which honestly just adds to the stress they are supposed to relieve. I think an anxiety/panic attack companion app should be made with an aim to be deleted after doing its job. So, I decided to build It Will Pass. It’s a straightforward wellness toolkit designed to give you practical relief without any of the baggage. Here were my non-negotiables while building this: -Zero Subscriptions: I strongly believe in the "One Price, Yours Forever" model. You buy it once, and you own it. -Total Privacy: There are no accounts to create and absolutely zero external tracking. Your data stays entirely local on your device. -Real-World Usability: The techniques included (like the top-to-bottom muscle relaxation) are specifically designed to be done comfortably with using a phone—no physically awkward postures required. -Calming Themes and Soundscapes: It has hand-picked sounds and nicely crafted themes to suit the experience i aimed. I built this to be the app I wished existed for myself and the people I care about. I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or any questions you have about the development process (built with Swift/Xcode) or the methodology behind the exercises.
