IsHighRiskAI
Find out if your AI system is high-risk under the EU AI Act
Most EU AI Act guides still say high-risk rules apply on 2 August 2026. The Digital Omnibus changed that, and most content hasn't caught up. IsHighRiskAI is a free 7-stage classifier built on the current text: scope, prohibitions, Annex III, the Article 6(3) derogation, GPAI, Article 50 transparency, and your role as provider or deployer. Every determination is anchored to the article it rests on. Your classification is free on screen, no signup. Triage, not legal advice.
Hey Product Hunt :)
I run an AI engineering studio, and the same question kept coming from clients: "is our system high-risk under the EU AI Act?" Nobody could answer it quickly, and the guides online contradicted each other.
Then the Digital Omnibus landed last month and made most of that content wrong. High-risk obligations moved to December 2027, so a lot of teams stood down.
Here's the part that matters for this crowd: Article 50 transparency did NOT move. If your product has a chatbot, generates synthetic content, or does anything deepfake-adjacent, disclosure obligations apply on 2 August 2026. It catches non-EU companies too if your users are in the EU.
So we built the tool we wanted: 7 plain-English stages, every answer anchored to the actual article. It goes deep where classification is genuinely hard, the Article 6(3) derogation, and the Article 25 flip that quietly turns a deployer into a provider.
Free, no signup for your result. Triage, not legal advice.
Would love feedback on the decision tree, especially from anyone who's had to make these calls in-house. What did we get wrong?
