iPhone Data Manager
Fast, private, local-first iPhone manager
Fast, private, local-first iPhone manager and iOS data manager for Mac to back up, browse and export WhatsApp chats, Messages, photos, contacts, files and diagnostics.
I built iPhone Data Manager for Mac because managing local iPhone data on macOS felt stuck in the past: Finder locks backups onto your internal drive as unreadable SHA-1 hashes, iCloud doesn't let you export WhatsApp or SMS threads, and most third-party tools feel bloated or require cloud accounts.
iPhone Data Manager is a native Apple Silicon app (notarized by Apple) built around one strict rule: your data never leaves your Mac.
What you can do with it:
• 💾 External SSD & Lean Backups: Back up directly to your Mac or an external drive with real disk-write progress, or use Lean Mode to save only core databases (WhatsApp, Contacts, SMS).
• 🕰️ Data Time Machine: Compare any two backups across dates to see exactly what was added, modified, or deleted.
• 💬 WhatsApp Reader, Lead Extractor & SHA-256 PDFs: Smoothly read tens of thousands of messages offline, extract business leads (phone numbers, emails, addresses, valid IBANs) to CSV, and print tamper-evident PDF transcripts with SHA-256 message and root hashes.
• 📸 Fast Camera Roll & Contacts: Preview exact byte counts before parallel photo/video export, and export clean vCard 3.0 (.vcf) files.
• 🔋 Pro Diagnostics: Check true battery cycle counts, design vs. current capacity, crash reports, and live iOS system logs.
You can download the app, browse all your data, check diagnostics, and create full local backups for free (no account or credit card required). Paid plans unlock unlimited bulk exports and password-encrypted backup unlocking.
I'd love to hear your feedback and answer any questions!
