I'm Shabbar, the solo founder and developer behind IconMarvel. I built the platform myself, from the application and infrastructure to its semantic search system.
I wanted to build more than another icon library. My goal was to bring icon discovery, customization, export, and development workflows together in one place.
With IconMarvel, you can find SVG and PNG icons through semantic search, customize them, and export files or copy code for SVG, JSX, HTML, React, Vue, and Web Awesome. You can also use the developer API, NPM package, CDN, and Figma plugin.
One part I'm particularly proud of is the self-hosted, Python-based semantic search system I built to help people find icons by meaning, rather than relying only on exact keywords.
I'm continuing to improve IconMarvel, and I'd genuinely appreciate your feedback.
