HyperWords
An AI writing companion that evolves with your voice
HyperWords is an AI writing studio that adapts to your voice everywhere you write. Write in the studio or use the Chrome extension across Gmail, Notion, Docs, Slack, LinkedIn, and any text field. Rewrite, proofread, summarize files, chat with sources, and save your own reusable AI skills. Every built-in action is editable, so AI writing finally sounds like you.
I built it because every AI writing tool I tried sounded the same — and none of them sounded like me. Wordtune's "Formal" wasn't formal the way I needed. Grammarly's tone shifts smoothed my writing into something I didn't recognize. ChatGPT was great but lived in another tab.
So I built two things, sharing one account:
🎛️ A writing studio at app.hyperwords.pro — a document editor with 13 built-in AI actions, custom skills, a chat assistant, and Voice & Style personalization.
🌐 A Chrome extension that brings the same actions and the same skills into Gmail, Notion, Docs, Slack, LinkedIn, and any text field on the web.
The feature I'm proudest of: every built-in prompt is editable. Open "Formal", rewrite the prompt, save. "Casual" means whatever casual means to you. And you can build your own skills — "Translate to Vietnamese", "Polish my LinkedIn post", "Rewrite for non-technical readers" — once, then reuse them forever.
The other one I love: summaries are documents that remember their source. Drop a PDF, get a TL;DR with citations, open it a week later, and the AI Chat still knows the source. It's NotebookLM-meets-Lex.page, but cheaper and with a real extension layer.
A few things I'd love feedback on:
🎙️ Does the Voice & Style profile actually feel like you? Try it. 🛠️ What custom skills would you build first? 📄 Is the chat-with-summary feature a real workflow for you, or a nice-to-have?
Pricing for context: Free forever (25 rewrites/day · 25 chats/day · 1 custom skill · unlimited grammar). Pro at $3.99/mo, Unlimited at $5.99/mo. Cheaper than Wordtune (~$9.99) and Grammarly (~$12) — and the only one with editable prompts + custom skills.
I'll be in this thread all day — ask me anything 🙏

Who hunted HyperWords?
HyperWords was hunted by Kris Nguyen. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
