HUUSH
Automatically censor swear words in your videos
Censoring swear words shouldn't mean spending hours scrubbing through a timeline. HUUSH makes it simple. Import a video, let it automatically transcribe and detect profanity, then choose which words to censor with a beep or silence. Preview your edits and export when you're ready. Everything runs locally on your Mac, keeping your videos private. No complicated editing tools, no tedious manual work. Just a faster way to make your videos clean.

Hey everyone! 👋 I'm the solo developer behind HUUSH. I started working on this because censoring swear words in videos is way more tedious than it should be. Having to replay clips, find every swear word, cut the audio, and repeat just felt like something that could be automated. So I built HUUSH, a native macOS app that detects profanity in your videos and lets you censor it with a beep or silence. You can review everything before exporting, and all the processing happens locally on your Mac. There's still a lot I want to improve and add, but I'm excited to finally share what I've been working on. I'd genuinely love to hear what you think, especially what features you'd want to see next. Thanks for checking it out! ❤️
