Horadric

Every coding agent on your desktop, at a glance

Every coding agent session becomes a small tile on your desktop, grouped by project. It turns amber when the agent needs you. Click it and you get the real CLI in a real terminal. No chat UI, no wrapper, no Electron. Works with Claude Code, Codex and Grok Build. Free, MIT licensed, no telemetry. Windows 10 and 11, and macOS 11 or later (the browser pane and quest log are Windows only for now). Not code signed yet, so SmartScreen warns on Windows. The Mac app is not notarized.

Run more than a few coding agents and the terminals become the problem. You can't see which one is waiting on you. So I built Horadric. Every Claude Code, Codex or Grok Build session becomes a small tile on the Windows desktop, grouped by project. It turns amber when the agent needs you. Ctrl+Alt+Space jumps to the one that has waited longest. Look away and you get a Windows notification. Click a tile and you get the real CLI in a real terminal. Horadric refuses to be a chat UI or a wrapper. The agents are good at being agents. They don't need a second interface. It's pure Rust on Win32 and Direct2D. No Electron. About 45 MB with four sessions open, and no CPU between events. State comes from the agents' own hooks, not from scraping the terminal. Sessions survive a crash, an update and a reboot. Claude Code wrote almost all of it. I made the calls. Free, MIT licensed, Windows 10 and 11, no telemetry. It's not code signed yet, so SmartScreen warns the first time. Tell me what breaks and what's missing. That's the feedback I want.

Who hunted Horadric?

Horadric was hunted by Morten Pradsgaard. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
