Home Budget Analytics
Budget from the bank statements you already have
Upload CSV, PDF, OFX, QIF, or CAMT statements from any bank and see where your money goes. No bank connection, no Plaid. Rules-based categories you approve, multi-currency, budgets, goals, and subscriptions. 9 languages, 14-day free trial.
Hi Product Hunt, I’m the developer of Home Budget Analytics.
I built it because most budget apps want a live link to your bank, and in many countries that either doesn’t work or I simply didn’t want to hand over my credentials. But every bank lets you download a statement file.
So you upload the files you already have (CSV, PDF, XLS/XLSX, OFX/QFX, CAMT.053, QIF) and the app removes duplicates, categorizes transactions with rules you approve (no black-box AI deciding about your money), converts everything to your home currency at the exchange rate of the transaction date, and shows spending by category over time. There are also budgets, savings goals, detection of recurring payments, and a read-only household view where each person shares only the accounts they choose. The original file is deleted right after a successful import by default.
What it doesn’t do, honestly: no automatic bank sync, no investment or crypto tracking, and no native iOS/Android app yet (it installs as a PWA).
It’s free to try for 14 days, no card needed. I’d love feedback, especially on bank statement formats that don’t import cleanly. I’ll answer every comment today.
