Hi Product Hunt,
We've sold on Etsy and eBay since 2012, and we still do. The part that never got easier was writing the listing. Every marketplace wants something different: eBay wants the item specifics for that exact category, Etsy wants 13 tags and the right attributes, Poshmark wants a size from its own chart. Plenty of what we photographed sat on a shelf because writing it up was the bottleneck. In 2025 we started building Holgo to fix that for ourselves.
How it works:
1. Pick where you sell and add a few photos of one item: front, back, the label, any flaws. Add a line about anything the photos can't show.
2. Holgo reads the photos together and writes the listing in that marketplace's own format: title, description, category, and the fields that marketplace asks for (eBay item specifics and condition, Etsy tags and attributes, Poshmark size and colors, and so on).
3. Review and edit, then copy it into Etsy, eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. On Etsy and eBay you can also connect your store and publish the whole listing in seconds, photos included.
A few things we cared about:
- Grounded, not invented. eBay categories and item specifics come from eBay's live catalog, Etsy categories from Etsy's own tree. Brand, MPN and barcodes are read off the labels and left out when the photos don't show them.
- You stay in charge. You review every listing before it's published, and the things Etsy treats as your own declaration, like who made an item and when, are suggestions for you to confirm.
- Photo cleanup (background, crop, brightness) in the same place, and a shared workspace if you list as a team.
There's a free plan, not a trial, no credit card, and it refills every month. Paid plans add volume, connected stores and team seats.
