Hatoba
A second dock for your Mac with widgets and AI agent status
Hatoba is a second dock for macOS. It sits on the left, right or bottom edge of any screen (or in the notch) and stays hidden until you need it. Pin apps, links and 16 live widgets: system stats, music, weather, calendar, notes and more. See at a glance whether your Claude Code, Codex and Cursor sessions are working, waiting or done. Also includes clipboard history, window snapping and screenshots with OCR. $14.99 one-time, 14-day free trial, no account.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Willem, maker of Hatoba (Japanese for "pier" or "wharf").
The macOS Dock is great for launching apps, but I kept wanting one more place at the edge of my screen for the things I check all day: system stats, music, the calendar, a quick note. Then I started running several AI coding agents at once and kept losing track of which one was waiting on me. So I built a second dock.
Hatoba lives on the left, right or bottom edge (or in the notch) and stays out of the way until you need it. Highlights: • 16 live widgets, including AI agent status for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor • Clipboard history (last 200 copies, pin up to 50) • Window snapping with shortcuts and custom layouts • Screenshots with annotation, OCR and floating pins • Liquid Glass styling on macOS 26
It's a one-time $14.99 purchase for up to 3 Macs, with a 14-day free trial, no subscription and no account.
I'd love to hear what you'd put in your second dock, and which widget you'd want next!
