Handwriting Reading
AI reading your messy script just to roast your soul.
This is definitely not another lazy AI wrapper. Ink Roast uses a custom computer vision pipeline to extract raw physical writing traits, such as baseline slope, pen pressure, and character spacing. It then maps these physical metrics to a hard-coded psychological rule engine. Skipping the fluff of horoscope-style flattery, it targets your hidden anxieties with a devastating "Lead Roast" and a brutal "Cost Line" analysis. Before it roasts your soul, come and roast my code with your handwriting!
Hello PH friends! 👋 I’m an indie dev, and for the past few weeks, I’ve been building Ink Roast.
It started as a simple curiosity: could I accurately extract physical writing traits from messy photos? But things spiraled. I accidentally built a ruthless psychological diagnostic engine.
To be clear, this isn't just a lazy "image-to-LLM" wrapper. I built a strict "hybrid pipeline":
The Gatekeeper: A picky mechanism that rejects selfies or printed text.
The CV Core: Extracts physical evidence like pen pressure and baseline shifts.
The Engine: Maps these traits to dimensions like "control issues" or "cognitive load."
The Roast: A hard-coded library of brutal, human-written psychological insights.
When I finally finished the UI, I tested it with a page from my own notebook. I wasn't ready. The system analyzed my heavy pressure and tight spacing, labeled me a "Defensive Observer," and hit me with: "You hold the line so hard you're the one paying the bill." It then generated a cost analysis of how my obsession with control is burning me out. I sat in silence for 10 minutes, stripped bare by my own code.
I need your help! PH community, upload your messiest handwriting and try to break my vision model. Tell me how bad the UI is, or let me know in the comments if its "Red Flags" are total nonsense or terrifyingly accurate.
