Hi Product Hunt! Most carbon calculators I tried gave me a number and a tree project somewhere far away, and that was it. I wanted the trip to lead somewhere useful: to the place I'm actually going and the people looking after it. Good Tourist shows the CO2 of your trip, then three field organizations whose work stores carbon (the button opens their own donation page), and once you're there, local nature organizations and animals to look for without disturbing them. Hundreds of destinations have their own researched organizations. I don't claim a donation makes your trip carbon neutral, and the coral card says plainly that coral repairs a reef rather than storing CO2. I'd love your feedback, especially on destinations where the local organizations look off.
