Like many developers, I love running local LLMs, but I was frustrated by modern desktop AI apps. Opening 2-3 Electron wrappers easily ate 4GB of RAM and made my laptop fans scream.
I built GhostOS around a single obsession: zero bloat.
By replacing heavy browser runtimes with a native webview and an agile Python core, GhostOS idles at just ~30MB RAM.
