I'm a home cook, and I cook at home a lot. Many things I cook for the first time give me real panic attacks, so I often turned to AI chat for help to explain how and what to do better. But every single time, I had to bring it up to speed on what I was cooking. And the recipes it generated became one-offs they just got lost in the chat history.
I also saved a lot of recipes from Instagram, but usually cooked maybe one out of fifty. The rest just got lost and became clutter in my saved tab. Plus I'm not a native speaker, so quickly understanding and remembering a recipe is hard for me.
That's why I decided to build FOODIE to solve all of these problems for myself.
