I kept shipping Filament panels and finding the same gaps the morning after deploy: debug still on, queues stuck, cron silent, a key sitting in a file. Laravel has pieces for each of those. None of them live in the panel.
FilaWarden Core is free and MIT. It scores the panel across five vectors, runs a 12-point deployment check, and shows queues, cron, database size, the error log, and SSL expiry. Pro adds a secret scanner, APM slow queries with callers, an incident board, and Slack, Discord, or webhook alerts. Filament 4 and 5. No extra daemon.
It does not block SQL injection or blacklist IPs. Those lines on the marketing feed are illustrative, not a WAF.
