FabLog
Track the real cost and profit of 3D prints and laser cuts
FabLog is the first iOS app built specifically for makers who 3D print and laser cut. It tracks every session, material usage, electricity costs, taxes, time and more, so you know exactly what each project costs to produce and track your earnings. Born from a personal need: I'm a maker who got tired of guessing how much each print was actually costing me. No analytics, no tracking, no data collected. Just a simple, private tool built by a maker, for makers. Available in English and Italian.
Hey everyone!
I'm Rosario, a Maker and 3D printing enthusiast from Italy.
I built FabLog because I had a simple problem: I was selling 3D printed products but had no idea what my actual costs were. I was guessing margins on material, electricity, and time, and it felt wrong.
I looked for an app that could help me track all of this, but couldn't find anything designed for makers. So I decided to build one myself. It's my very first app, built as a personal project so no company behind it, just me.
FabLog lets you log every print and cut session, automatically calculates electricity costs based on your machine's wattage, tracks material usage, taxes and other extra costs and gives you a clear picture of what each project actually costs and what your earnings are.
It also supports file attachments (STL, 3MF, G-code, DXF) and syncs via iCloud.
I'd love to hear your feedback! What features would you want to see next? And if you're a maker who tracks costs differently, I'm curious how you do it!

Who hunted FabLog?
FabLog was hunted by Rosario. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
