It analyses Browser extensions using a mix of static analysis and behavioural signals. ExterminAI produces readable reports that explain what an extension is doing and why it may be risky. Built as a research-driven project, ExterminAI is designed for everyday users, developers, and security teams who want more visibility into the extensions they install.
This started as a thesis project to fill a major gap in security. The constant overlooking of extension security.
