But in an era of constant data breaches and AI scraping, trusting third party servers with sensitive files is a massive security risk. If a server leaks your signature or data, the ultimate loss is yours.
The Solution:
I built editpdf.tools with a strict Privacy-First, Zero-Retention philosophy.
Here is how it works:
🔒 12 Free Tools (100% Client-Side): Tools like PDF Merge, Split, Compress, and Sign execute entirely locally inside your browser using WebAssembly. Your files never leave your device. Zero server uploads.
⚡ Pro Editor (Zero-Retention): For complex editing, our Pro version securely processes files via Google Cloud Run with an integrated ClamAV anti-virus scan. The moment your file is processed or the page refreshes, it is immediately and permanently wiped from our system.
As a developer, I wanted a tool I could actually trust with my own documents. Now, I'm sharing it with you.
