Echoryte
Turn recordings into editable, timestamped text
Echoryte turns audio and video into text you can actually work with. Review word-level timestamps, identify speakers, edit while listening, and export to TXT, DOCX, PDF, SRT, VTT, CSV, or JSON. Then generate summaries and chapters, ask questions about the transcript, or translate it into 130+ languages. Private uploads, resumable large files, and 400 welcome credits for every verified account—no card required.
I built Echoryte because transcription shouldn’t end with a wall of text. Creators, journalists, researchers, and students need to verify quotes, fix names, find the exact moment something was said, and turn recordings into useful documents.
Echoryte keeps the recording and transcript connected: every word has a timestamp, speakers can be separated, edits save as you listen, and exports cover documents, subtitles, and structured data. AI can produce summaries and chapters or answer questions about the transcript, while translation helps reuse the same recording across languages.
We’re launching with 400 credits for each verified account, no card required. I’d love to hear what you transcribe most—and which part of the workflow still feels painful today.
