EachPayday

Budgeting built around your payday, not the calendar month

EachPayday is a private budgeting app organised around your pay cycle. Fortnightly first, with weekly and monthly supported. Every bill becomes a per-payday amount, a payday checklist shows what to set aside and move, and a Bills account view tracks that each direct debit is covered until the next pay. No account, no bank login, no cloud: your data stays on your device and works offline. Buy once, AU$29.99 launch price until 31 December 2026. Free demo with sample data.

Hi Product Hunt, I’m Nate, a solo developer in Australia. Most budgeting apps assume you’re paid monthly. I’m paid fortnightly, like a lot of Australians, and a monthly budget drifts against a fortnightly pay until it breaks somewhere around week three. EachPayday starts from the pay cycle instead: every bill is converted to a per-payday amount, and on payday you get a checklist of what to set aside and move. The app then tracks that each direct debit is covered until the next pay. What it doesn’t do: it never connects to your bank and there’s no account to create. Your budget stays on your device, works offline, and you keep your own backup file. Pricing is one-time, AU$29.99 at the launch price until 31 December 2026, then AU$49.99. All 1.x updates are included. The demo on the site runs on sample data, so you can click through a full payday without entering anything. I’d value feedback on the checklist flow and on whether the fortnightly framing makes sense outside Australia (weekly and monthly cycles are supported too).

Who hunted EachPayday?

EachPayday was hunted by Nate O'Connor. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
