Drupal appears to be wanting to confront WordPress with the launch of Drupal 11 and Starshot, which is aimed at making Drupal more approachable and easier for creators to adopt.
Drupal was one of the first open source projects I ever contributed to (back in 2004!!). I'm glad to see its continued developed and am excited about its future.
