DoneThat

Remote work's missing piece

DoneThat automatically tracks work without any manual toggles. Users are in full control and can review, delete, edit anything DoneThat creates. Don, DoneThat's work companion, proactively notifies when you dirft and helps you focus on your goals. Your work gets published in your groups' feeds, so you stay focused, in the loop, and visible without meetings or spyware. It takes 2min to set up and is fully automated after that.

Hi PH, we're back! DoneThat launched here about a year ago, and what a ride it was. Back then DoneThat was barely working and yet one year later we still have users from the launch, thanks all for trusting in us! DoneThat was born out of a simple frustration: That despite everything we learnt during Covid, despite all the best practices for remote work, it hit a wall. Both in US and EU, we've been seeing RTO and it stayed that way. Sure, some hybrid days, but if you still have to come to the office, you still can only apply to jobs in your city, still can't travel, still can't live in a hut by a lake in the countryside like I'd love to. DoneThat solves this by going into a topic nobody likes: Tracking. After looking at the data, talking to lots of people in the space I believe that minimal tracking can solve a lot of blockers to remote work: It can build trust, make async updates easier, foster cross-team collaboration, and help people stay productive at home. DoneThat tracks, but does so in the least annoying and most privacy-sensitive way possible: It's fully automated, all data can be reviewed before it gets shared, it runs on EU servers, is regularly penetration-tested. See all the measures we took here: https://donethat.ai/data What does that look like in the end? Check out my public profile. I've been dogfooding DoneThat myself for the last two years: https://donethat.ai/p/christoph DoneThat is free for the first 14 days, no cc required. I'd love to see you try it out!

Who hunted DoneThat?

DoneThat was hunted by Christoph Hartmann. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
