I originally built DocMetrics because I kept noticing how blind document sharing feels in sales and client communication. You send a proposal, onboarding guide, pricing PDF, or contract… and then silence. You don’t know: * if they actually read it * which sections mattered * whether they revisited pricing * or if the deal quietly died three days ago At first I thought simple open tracking was enough.
