Diffsmith

Comment on your AI agent's code & collaborate on changes

Diffsmith is a code review studio for local git changes made by Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, or any other AI coding agent. Open a repo, read the uncommitted diff, and click any line to leave a comment anchored to that exact spot. Then hand your notes straight back to the agent. Supports MCP for viewing you're agent's replies to your comments directly at the line of code it relates to. Diffsmith is 100% offline and a one time purchase unlocks lifetime access.

That is going to bite in agent loops that commit often. Ours commits after every meaningful step, so a 40 minute session is 10-15 commits, and each one would sweep the whole review state into Past. Any chance comments could stay live when the lines they are anchored to survive into HEAD unchanged? Committing usually means I agreed with the code, not that I am done talking about it.

Who hunted Diffsmith?

Diffsmith was hunted by Max Chuquimia. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
