DeskPet
A native macOS app: an orange cat that lives on your Mac
DeskPet is a cute virtual pet that lives on your Mac desktop and helps you through the workday. It runs a focus timer (work for 25 minutes, then take a short break), reminds you to drink water, stretch and rest your eyes, and keeps your tasks and notes in one place. Just type or say what you need, like “Start a 25-minute focus session” or “Add buy groceries to my tasks.” Private by default: it only reads your data if you allow it. Apple Silicon, macOS 14+ needed.
It's a cute pet that lives on your desktop and keeps you productive: focus sessions, water/stretch/eye-rest reminders, tasks and notes, all by just chatting with it.
What would you want your desktop pet to help you with? I'd love your feedback!

Who hunted DeskPet?
DeskPet was hunted by Vansh Arora. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
