DemoVine
Capture, share and track interactive web app demos
DemoVine captures your web app's real UI as you click through it and turns it into a clickable demo. Not a video, not a stack of screenshots. Mix HTML captures, screenshots, and recordings in one demo. Fix text, mask sensitive data, or branch into multiple paths after capture. Share one link, embed it, or export MP4/GIF. Tools like Storylane and Arcade put HTML capture behind $300–500/mo plans. DemoVine has it on the free tier; Beta Pro is $19/mo.
Hey Product Hunt!
I'm building DemoVine solo. I kept needing a product demo that prospects could actually click through, and every tool that captured the real HTML (not screenshots) wanted $300–500/month. Video demos went stale every time I shipped a UI change.
So DemoVine does three things:
• A Chrome extension captures the actual DOM as you click through your app
• You edit after capture: fix copy, mask sensitive data, add hotspots, branch into multiple paths
• You share one link or embed it, and re-capturing updates that same link
Honest limits: iframes and WebGL canvases come through as images, so you can't click inside an embedded widget. Closed shadow DOM isn't captured yet.
Free tier includes HTML capture. Beta Pro is $19/mo.
I'd really like to hear what breaks on your app, and what you'd need before using this for real sales calls. I'll be here all day replying.
