Hi Product Hunt! I'm Killian, and I built datatomcp on my own from the Netherlands.
The problem: I kept pasting spreadsheets into Claude and ChatGPT and asking for totals. With big files, the answers were often a little wrong, and I could not tell which ones. The model was reading rows and doing the math in its head.
So datatomcp puts your CSV or Google Sheet in a real database (DuckDB) and gives your agent a remote MCP server to query it. The agent asks for "orders from France in September, total revenue", the database computes it, and the agent gets back a tiny exact result, with the dataset version it came from.
A few things I cared about:
• An import report before any agent sees the data: bad lines, numbers stored as text, mixed date formats.
• Private Google Sheets with Google's own file picker, so datatomcp can read only the file you choose.
• OAuth sign-in, so there is no API key to paste into your agent. Read-only, no raw SQL.
• The same query engine over REST, for n8n, Make or your own app.
• Hosted in the EU, and your data is never sent to AI providers.
The free plan has 3 datasets of 100,000 rows, no card needed. Pro is $12 or €12 a month.
