CVTailorly
Free CV checker and tailoring that never invents experience
Check your CV free with no sign-up: ATS readability, length, weak verbs, missing results and spelling. Build and preview one free. Tailor it to a job ad with a one-off pack or the Monthly plan. The AI only uses your real experience and shows gaps instead.
Hi Product Hunt,
We built CVTailorly because a lot of the AI CV tools we tried would quietly add skills or results the person didn't have. That might get a CV past a filter, but it leaves the job seeker trying to back up claims in an interview that were never true.
So the AI here only works with what's already in your CV. It rewords, reorders and sharpens it for a specific job ad. If the ad asks for something your CV can't back up, you see it listed as a gap rather than written in.
The CV check is free and needs no account. It looks at ATS readability, length, weak verbs, missing results, spelling and contact details. Building and previewing a CV in the builder is free too. You pay to download from the builder or to have a CV tailored, either with a one-off pack or the Monthly plan.
For UK job seekers there's also job search at /jobs: find a job on our site, get a CV and cover letter written for it, then apply on the employer's own page.
The most useful thing you could do is run the check on your own CV and tell us in the comments what it got wrong, and whether the gaps list helps or just gets in the way. We'll read every comment.
