I'm Suryansh, a 2nd year engineering student from India. I built CramAI because I literally am the user.
Every semester I tell myself I'll study consistently. Every semester I end up cramming the night before exams. I'd open ChatGPT, paste my syllabus, ask for important questions, watch YouTube shorts for quick explanations — jumping between 3 different apps under stress at midnight.
I thought — why does this workflow not exist in one place, built specifically for this moment?
That's how CramAI started.
The process was humbling. I analysed real exam papers from my own university and compared them against what the AI predicted. About 65-70% topic accuracy on the first version — not perfect, but genuinely useful for a student with 4 hours left before an exam.
The biggest lesson I learned building this: don't build for everyone. Build for one specific painful moment. For students, that moment is the night before an exam — stressed, lost, and desperately needing direction.
