Cosmic Agent Plugins

Connect Cosmic agents to any service with an MCP server

Your Cosmic Agents already manage your content. Plugins let them work in your other tools too: a vendor's official MCP server, its skills, and a token slot, installed on one agent. Real vendor tools, not guessed API calls. GitHub, Stripe, Render, PostHog, and Resend install today.

Hey Product Hunt! Tony here, CEO of Cosmic.

Our Agents have been managing content for a while now. They model your content types, write and publish objects, and keep a site's copy current. That worked, but it was always half the job. Publishing a page does nothing if nobody deploys it, no one measures it, and the customer never gets the email.

The thing that changed is that almost every vendor now ships an official MCP server. Stripe, GitHub, Cloudflare, Render, PostHog, Linear, Resend. So today we're launching Agent Plugins.

What a plugin is: a vendor's official remote MCP server, the skills for using it, and a slot for the token that authorizes it. You install it on one Agent and that Agent can now work inside that vendor's product.

Why the MCP part matters: an agent that has read about an API is not the same as an agent connected to one. Training data is a snapshot. Endpoints move, parameters change, and the model fills the gaps with confident guesses. That is how you get work that looks right and fails on contact. The vendor's MCP server publishes the actual tools, keeps the schemas current, and ships skills explaining how those tools go together. Your Agent works from the vendor's definition of its product instead of a recollection of it.

Connecting is a token. Open the Agent, go to Settings, Tools, Add plugin, paste the key. No JSON config, nothing running locally.

What that unlocks: the same Agent that writes your product pages can check a subscription in Stripe, deploy the site on Render, purge the cache at Cloudflare, ship a feature flag in PostHog, and send the email through Resend. Content management, ecommerce, deployment, communication, and analytics, from one Agent using each vendor's real tools.

Each plugin lives on one Agent, so its token stays there. Since Cosmic Agents can communicate with each other, other agents can ask that Agent for the work and get the answer in conversation.

Seven vendors are live today, and the catalog grows as more ship remotes. Any service with an exposed MCP endpoint can become a Cosmic plugin.
