Hi Product Hunt! I'm Olivier, and corporary is a site and API about French companies, built only from official public sources. Why I built it: checking a French company means jumping between the INSEE Sirene register, the INPI business register, the BODACC legal notices and a few ministry datasets, each with its own format and update rhythm. All of it is public, but almost none of it is joined together, and even less of it can be used by a program or an AI agent. What it does: - One page per company: identity, establishments, directors, legal notices including insolvency proceedings, financial aggregates, collective agreement and labels (RGE, Qualiopi, gender pay gap index). - Every source is refreshed daily through the same pipeline, with quality checks that block a merge if volumes drift, and every field change is stored with its date. - A REST API with a free plan (1,000 calls a month), and an MCP server with the same key, so Claude, Cursor or VS Code can answer questions like "which construction firms in Bas-Rhin entered receivership this month". - Two scores, financial and legal, kept separate, with the formula published and the inputs shown on each page. How the approach evolved: I started with a classic company directory and ended up spending most of the time on data quality and privacy. No beneficial owners, no people INSEE marks as non public, officer pages keyed by an opaque code rather than a name, and GDPR objections applied automatically within 24 hours. The data turned out to be the easy part, getting it right was the real work. It is bilingual (French and English), hosted in France, and free to browse. I would love feedback on the API and on any data error you spot.

Who hunted corporary?

corporary was hunted by Olivier Schaal. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
