I embarked on this project in 2021 with a clear mission: to create an easily accessible design systems starter kit that can be effortlessly customized and scaled by anyone.
I've often found myself overwhelmed by UI Kits that come with an excessive number of pre-made components that don't align with my specific requirements. Moreover, these kits often lack comprehensive documentation, making them difficult to work with. This is precisely why I initiated Core.
The primary objective behind Core is to provide you with a solid foundation without unnecessary frills, ensuring you remain in complete control and fully understand how your system operates. This approach is crucial for guaranteeing the highest quality UI.
While no two design systems are identical, they all commence in the same manner. We offer the starting point, but it's up to you to add only the elements that suit your product's unique requirements.
Through our online documentation, we aim to support you at every stage of building your design system. This includes guidance on setting your color scheme, recommendations for Figma plugins that can streamline your workflow, and pointers to helpful online tools.
