CoopSeat
Stream your game to friends. Play together in one room.
Stream your game to friends in a public or private room, free up to 720p. Nothing is recorded. Directly on your browser or download for Windows, or play locally with a capture card.
I'm the solo developer behind CoopSeat, and I'd love to share how this project came to life.
It actually started as something much simpler: a clean, user-friendly video player that would let me easily preview footage from my capture card.
But things took an unexpected turn.
Following the restrictions affecting Discord's streaming features in Brazil amid the implementation of the ECA Digital legislation, something many gamers enjoyed doing with friends suddenly became much harder.
Sharing gameplay, watching each other's screens, and simply hanging out while gaming had become part of our daily routine.
That's when I realized my little project could solve a much bigger problem.
CoopSeat evolved into a browser-based gaming room platform powered by WebRTC and peer-to-peer streaming, allowing multiple friends to share their gameplay simultaneously in the same room.
But there's something important I want to emphasize:
CoopSeat isn't trying to replace Discord, and it's definitely not about bypassing regulations.
In fact, identity verification and biometric authentication are part of our approach to accessing gaming rooms. We believe that creating a safe environment and respecting local regulations should be part of the product's foundation, not an afterthought.
Our goal is simple: bring back the experience of casually watching and sharing gameplay with friends, without unnecessary complexity.
CoopSeat is free to use, independently developed, and still evolving.
I'm building this project with the community in mind, and your feedback genuinely matters.
A couple of questions for fellow gamers and developers: 🎮 How do you currently share gameplay with your friends? 💡 What features would you love to see in a platform like CoopSeat? Thanks for checking it out and being part of the journey! 🌐 https://coopseat.com/

Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
