I built this because I kept failing at progress photos. Same lighting, same pose, same angle — twice — turns out to be almost impossible if you have a job and a life. And taking a clear photo of your own back is genuinely awkward.
So I stopped trying to fix the photo, and built around the part you can actually repeat: measurements.
Contura turns height, weight, and circumferences into a 3D body model on-device. You can rotate it, see your back without asking anyone, and compare any two moments on the same neutral frame — red where volume increased, blue where it decreased. No photos, no camera scans, no account.

3.0 adds two things I'm especially curious to hear feedback on:
- Past Me — if you have a starting weight but no usable before photo (most people don't), it reconstructs an estimated past body from a short questionnaire and any history Contura has.
- Future Me — a projection, clearly framed as a projection, showing a plausible body 1/3/6/12 months ahead based on your goals and trend quality.
A few honest notes:
- iOS 18+ only for now. Android is on the roadmap but not soon — happy to discuss why in the comments.
- Contura uses a parametric body model, not a scan. More circumferences = closer match.
- Body data stays on your device. No backend servers for measurements.
