Contentrain | Migrate

Move your WordPress site to Astro and keep what it has built

A WordPress site holds years of content, templates and URLs, and moving it usually means rebuilding that by hand. Contentrain Migrate moves your site's content and template structure to a working Astro project. It analyzes your site automatically, shows the scope and one fixed price before you pay, and checks the result against your original. The code is yours, in your GitHub. Manage content in Git, connect another CMS, or use Contentrain Studio.

Hi, I'm Sercan, co-founder of Contentrain. Over the years a WordPress site builds up real value: content, templates, URLs and the titles search engines know. Plugin updates, security patches and server upkeep are often what push owners and agencies to leave. What holds them back is rebuilding all that value somewhere else. Exporting posts covers only part of it. Pages, templates, menus, media and redirects are the rest of the site, and a static front end with WordPress still behind it is a different goal from leaving WordPress. Migrate moves the whole site to Astro. You start with a free, automatic discovery of your site. You then get an offer: what moves, what stays, and one fixed price for the site. After payment, Migrate builds the Astro project, checks it against your original and delivers it to your GitHub or as a zip. From there you choose how to manage content: Git, another CMS, or Contentrain Studio. We started out thinking of this as content extraction. Extracted content isn't a working site, though, so Migrate now delivers the Astro project itself. Scope: WordPress to Astro, for content sites like blogs, company sites and landing pages. Shop pages and membership systems stay on WordPress, and the offer tells you before you pay. I'd like to hear what discovery shows on your site.
