I’ve long been an advocate for data protection and privacy. When India’s DPDP Act arrived, it felt like real progress. Today, most document collection in India happens over WhatsApp, email and Google Forms, with no notice, no consent and no record. Collection breaks the DPDP Act by default. My team and I saw an opportunity to build a document collection platform around the Act, so the compliance is done the moment the collection is. We built Confidential Dispatch around how firms already work. You create a request for the documents you need and send your client a link, the same way you talk to them today.
