CodeLens

Explains any code 6 ways, with the AI you already use

Paste code, pick how you want it explained, get an answer. 6 modes, overview, beginner, line-by-line, advanced, security audit, and refactor. Each built for a different situation. A chat panel stays aware of your code the whole time, so follow-up questions make sense without starting over. Works with Gemini, Claude, or OpenAI. Gemini is free if you don't have a key yet. Windows, Mac, Linux. Your code stays local.

Built this because I kept losing flow switching to a browser tab every time I hit unfamiliar code. Wanted something that lived in one place and let me ask follow-up questions without re-explaining everything from scratch. The multi-AI thing came from feedback, not everyone uses the same provider, so I made it work with all three. It's free and open source. Happy to answer anything.
