CocoCut

Shoot 1 second a day, get a mini film — no editing

Most video diaries ask you to plan, shoot, then spend an evening editing. CocoCut removes the editing step: record a 1-second clip whenever something catches your eye, and the app stitches them into a short film for each month, in date order. No timeline, no transitions, no export settings. Footage stays on your device and the app works offline — nothing is uploaded, no account needed. Built for moments too small to justify a video: your coffee, a cat on the way home, the last light of the day.

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm the maker of CocoCut. My camera roll was full of moments I never looked at again: 20-second clips of a coffee, a cat, the walk home. Too long to be a photo, not worth editing into anything. So I built the opposite of an editor. You don't open a timeline, you tap record for a second. CocoCut stitches those seconds into one vlog per month, in the order they happened, right on the phone. That's the whole product. Core is free: 1s/2s capture (or long-press up to 10s), auto-stitching, date stickers, and 720P export. 1080P/4K share 2 free exports, and anyone can remove the watermark for free. Pro adds 1080P/4K after those 2, adjustable 3–10s clips, and unlimited Vlogs. 100% on-device, works offline, no account required. Happy to answer anything — especially from people who tried 1 Second Everyday or just gave up on video diaries.
