Clipori
An open-source Mac clipboard with AI search and notes
Clipori automatically saves what you copy on your Mac. Find old snippets with AI. Edit entries into notes or drag them into categories. Free and open source. AI is optional and uses your own OpenAI- or Claude-compatible API key.
Hi everyone, I'm the maker of Clipori.
I built it because I kept losing things I'd copied at work. Sometimes I remembered what a snippet was about, but not the words to search for it.
Clipori keeps your clipboard history in a card shelf on your Mac. It saves text, links, code and images. You can edit entries into notes, drag a selection into a category, or keep an entry as a desktop sticky note. I spent a lot of time on the small interactions, from opening the shelf to hovering over cards.
AI search helps you find something from the details you still remember. It's optional and uses your own OpenAI- or Claude-compatible service. History is stored locally; AI features send relevant text to your chosen provider.
The current release is free and open source under Apache 2.0. It runs on macOS 14 or later. AI provider charges are separate. The Mac builds aren't notarized yet, so please check the installation steps on the website.
What do you usually struggle to find in your clipboard history? I'd love to hear how you'd use this.
