Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Gaurav, a solo developer 💡 What inspired it I copy hundreds of things a day: links, hex colours, code snippets, screenshots of errors. Ten minutes later, most of it is gone. I kept re-copying the same things and digging through my Desktop for "that one screenshot". 😩 The problem The clipboard apps I tried were either a plain text list, a subscription, or synced my data to someone's cloud. I wanted something visual, instant, and completely private, because your clipboard holds passwords, keys and personal stuff. 🛠️ How it evolved It started as a simple history window. While using it every day, I realised opening a window was still too slow, so the notch became the heart of Clipket: hover it (or ⌃⌘Space) and your clips drop down, ⌘1–9 pastes instantly. Macs without a notch get a slim pill. Then came the things I personally missed: 🔍 Search text inside screenshots (on-device, nothing uploaded) 🔒 Password manager copies ignored, API keys and card numbers hidden ⚡ Text expansion, colour picker, paste-in-order, collections 🎨 8 skins, because a tool you use 100 times a day should feel nice No account, no cloud, no analytics. The only network calls are the licence check and update check. What do you copy the most in a day? I'd love your honest feedback
