CleanMacster
Clean, speed up and declutter your Mac — safely
A Mac cleaner that lists every file it finds before removing anything. Most cleaners show one big number and a button. CleanMacster shows every cache, leftover and duplicate with its size and location, and you decide what goes. Seven tools in one window: Checkup, Cleanup, Protection, Performance, Applications, Clutter and Space Map. Everything runs locally, with no account and no cloud. Dry run shows what would be removed without touching a file. Pay once, no subscription.
Why I built it: [e.g. my 512 GB MacBook kept running out of space]. Every cleaner I tried showed me one huge number like "23 GB of junk" and a big button, without saying what was inside. I didn't want to delete what I couldn't see.
So CleanMacster works the other way around: every scan ends with a list. Each cache, leftover, duplicate and log file is shown with its size and the folder it lives in, and nothing is removed until you press Clean.
A few things I cared about: • Everything runs on your Mac. No account, no cloud, nothing uploaded • Apps you uninstall go to the Trash, so you can put them back • Duplicates are matched by content (SHA-256), not by file name • Anything that might hold personal data starts unchecked • Dry run mode logs what it would remove and changes nothing • Developers: it also clears old Xcode DerivedData and unavailable simulators, which is often 10+ GB on its own
It's a one-time purchase starting at $9, no subscription. Launch pricing is early-bird.
I'd love your honest feedback: what's the one thing a Mac cleaner has to do for you to trust it? I'll be here all day answering questions 🙌
