ClawLite
Truly personal AI that runs entirely on your machine.
Most “personal” AI assistants send your conversations and memory to the cloud. ClawLite doesn’t.It runs entirely on your machine using local models. Chat through Telegram. It has persistent local memory, searches the live web, manages Gmail & Calendar (with approval), and sends a personalized Daily Brief.Real security: human approval for actions, Docker sandbox, and transparent cloud fallback. One-click Windows installer. Open source (Apache 2.0).No subscription. No data lock-in.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Fernando, founder of ForgeSynapse. I built ClawLite because I was tired of "personal" AI assistants that treat privacy as an afterthought.
Every other tool I tried either:
- Sent my conversations to the cloud by default
- Required a subscription to keep my own memory
- Or was so technical that normal people couldn’t use it
So I decided to build the opposite: an assistant that runs on **your machine**, uses **Telegram** as the interface, has real local memory, strong security guardrails, and can be installed by anyone with one click.
It’s still early (we just shipped v0.4.0 a couple of days ago), but the core is solid: local-first, transparent fallback, human-in-the-loop for important actions, and proper sandboxing.
I’d love your honest feedback:
- Does the local-first approach actually matter to you?
- What would make you trust (or not trust) an AI assistant like this?
- Any features you’re missing?
Happy to answer any questions. Thanks for checking it out!
