I use Claude heavily for coding and writing, and I kept hitting the usage limit at the worst possible times — right in the middle of a task. The only way to check was to open Claude.ai, navigate to the settings, and manually look at the usage page. I was doing this constantly throughout the day.
I wanted something that just sat on my screen and told me at a glance — like a battery indicator, but for Claude. So I built a small floating widget that shows my usage as a progress bar with a countdown timer. It lives in the system tray and never gets in my way.
The Chrome extension handles authentication automatically, so there's no manual token copying or login. Everything stays on your machine — no servers, no accounts.
